My dog is revolting!

My dog has done the grossest thing he could possibly do, besides eating his own poop (which he doesn't do, thank goodness).  Okay, so he was scratching on the glass door to get in, and I noticed that he had something grey and black in his mouth.  I thought it was a piece of cloth that we had outside, so when I opened the door just enough so that he could hear me and I told him to drop it.  Instead, he sucked it up so it went farther into his mouth.  I was afraid he might accidentally swallow it and choke on it, so I forced his mouth open.  It was then that I noticed that the piece of cloth had teeth.  And paws.  It was a pocket gopher.  As you can imagine, this grossed me out immensely, so I yelled, "Eew Jake, spit it out!!!" and whacked him on the back of the head, because that always works to make him spit things out.  He ran out onto the back porch and dropped it.  Then I made him go inside and I put Bobette's flip-flops on.  I grabbed a stick and poked it to see if it was still alive.  It was all squishy, like it had no backbone, and it smelled like a combination of dog breath and road kill.  It was rancid!  Then I picked it up with the stick, carried it to the fire pit and left it there.  I threw the stick in there too!  After I went back inside I spent the next five minutes lecturing Jake on why he couldn't bring dead pocket gophers into the house.  You probably would have laughed if you were there to watch.

--

Anyhoo, in other news, my friends who live three hours away from us (I'll call them the O'Neils) visited us on their way to Montana.  I hadn't seen them in two years, so I was really pleased!  My good friend Patrick O'Neil and I went to the monthly swing dance.  Sadly, Emileesings was working at the fair, and AJ was in Oregon, so they couldn't come.  But M and her sister "N" were there, so they got to meet him.  I got M to dance twice, but N wouldn't budge (she kept saying that she has a boyfriend).  And poor Patrick was so sleepy that he only danced twice - both times with me.  But he said he still had fun watching everyone else do the fancy moves, so I'm glad!  Also, last Saturday, I got Miyazaki's version of "Howl's Moving Castle" at the library, but when I went to watch it, the first disk was missing!  I was ticked!  Bobette is going to complain today on her way home from bringing Bob back from karate.

Well, I should go now, I'm working on a manga!  Toodles!

Homemade Ice Cream!

I just made my own vanilla ice cream!  I shared it with my siblings and we all loved it!  Man those vita mixes are nifty!  All I did was fill it up about one-third of the way with ice, then added milk, sugar and vanilla!  Cool huh?!

Contemplations on reject and eggs.

I know I've been making depression a topic more often than not lately, and it might be disappointing to some people, but bear with me - I'm trying to get my feelings out here!  This is almost as good as a diary!  Anyhoo, our C.A.P.E. (Christian Association of Parent Educators) picnic was two days ago.  My friend A.J. was there, and also a few other people I know, but I wasn't paid attention to as much as I would have liked.  I probably could have done the chicken dance and sang the song that never ends at the top of my lungs and still nobody would have paid attention to me!

The person who gave me the most entertainment was a girl I'll call "Resa".  She was really nice to me for someone who didn't give a lick about me anytime before.  But seriously, she kept me entertained when A.J. disappeared on me - until someone suggested playing freeze tag.

I'll have you know right here and now that I am not in the best of shape, but I volunteered to be "it" anyway.  It was torture for my lungs but eventually, it was Resa's turn to be "it" and I took a rest under a tree.  However, I didn't get much rest because everybody thought I was "frozen" and kept touching me.  I felt like I had a sign saying "Poke me" taped to my front!  After a while, everybody I knew well went home, and I was left to contemplate my loneliness.

--

But on the bright side, our chickens started laying eggs!  I had gone over there to lock them in the hen house for the night, and I looked in one of the roosts or whatever you call them, and I saw two eggs!  It was soooo COOL!!!  Later, Bob found a half-dozen more eggs under the barbeque.  I was a tad envious, but eh, it was his turn to shine!

Signing off!

Phone Troubles.

I could just cry.  I really could.

You remember how I said I jumped into the pool with my clothes on and my phone was in my back pocket?  Well it finally dried out, and I was thrilled that it still worked - until I found out that I can't make or receive calls or text messages.  Basically, the only useful thing it does at the moment, is take pictures.  Worst of all, my next upgrade isn't until October or November.  Now isn't that just wonderful.

"What else can go wrong?" I thought.  Ha.  Life should have already taught me that I should never think or say that sentence.  And now, for no reason at all, depression has set itself on me, and Bob-Jo is being a brat.  Oh yeah, and I'm babysitting.  Luckily, she has been distracted by The Spiderwick Chronicles, so I'm safe for a while.  Earlier, she threatened to call me "Barbie Girl" when she got a blog.  If she wasn't my sister, and I wasn't a Christian, I would totally give her what she deserves.  However, she is, and I am, so I can't.

At the moment, I'm multitasking.  I'm listening to music on Jango, doing stuff on Deviantart, and blogging.  I also have to listen for some package guy who will apparently have something  important for Bobette that I will have to sign to get.  I have such a busy life.

I wanted to go some surprise dance party - I like dancing - but Bobette is too busy to take me, so I'm just going to have to grin and bear it.  I'm gonna have to sign off now.  Toodles.

Post-Birthday blues.

I can't believe I haven't posted since the Fourth of July!T-T  I feel so guilty!  Although I suppose it's alright, since not much has happened during that time period except - MY FIFTEENTH BIRTHDAY!!!  That's right, man!  I am now officially old enough to drive - even if it's only with a parent.  I wanted to have this grand old birthday slumber party with ten of my most trusted friends.  I was planning on  sleeping out in the backyard in the tent, having an animethon, and staying up as late as we could before we all passed out.  That's what I wanted, but what ended up happening was quite different.
First of all, although I sent invitations to ten people, only three of them actually came, and then I invited someone else at the last minute.  Then, because I'm so lazy, I didn't get the picture that I wanted on my cake to Dairy Queen until the last minute, so the image on my cake turned out to be a very diluted version of the picture I wanted.  At least it had a dragon on it.  And I saw the cutest Wile E. Coyote cake that I'm definitely going to have next year!
And then I realized that It was going to cost a good amount of money to rent that many movies for animethon, so I decided on getting the new Alvin and the Chipmunks instead.  Then after the party started, two bad things happened.  First, after we went to bed in the tent, the wind started blowing really hard.  Not long after, it tore a huge hole right where the wall of the tent met the floor of the tent.  We ended up moving campus to the back porch.  Not long after, the rest of the girls decided to jump into the pool - with their clothes on.  After a while, I finally caved in and jumped in too.  It wasn't until after I had jumped in that I remembered that I had my cellphone in my back pocket.  Yeah, oops.
After we finished watching AatC, I brought out a bunch of mangas so that we could have a mangathon if not an animethon.  After a while though, everyone got bored with this and we all went to have a midnight ping pong tournament instead.  Would you believe that I was the only one there with any skills playing ping pong?  After we got bored with that, it was unanimously decided that we would try to pull an all nighter.  To stay awake, we pulled out a game called "Songburst" that I found in my garage.  However, it was only a three player game, so two of my friends - I'll call them M&M - offered to stay out of the game, and ended up falling asleep not long after.
The point of Songburst was to try and name as many fifties and sixties songs as you could.  Emileesings and my other friend - I'll call her AJ - turned out to be really good at this game, but I didn't know as many songs as they did, so I was quickly surpassed by them.  I ended up falling asleep around sunrise.
When I woke up, I found out that both of them had managed to stay awake all night.  I have absolutely no will power!  After a while, Bobette had to take everyone but AJ home early.  After the others had gone, I showed her this thing on Deviantart called the "Furrie Doll maker", which was basically an online Sonic X doll maker, and we made and named a few OCs.  Then she showed me the music video for Michael Jackson's "Triller" (She's obsessed with him) on Youtube.  It was creepy!  In return, I showed her the music video for Flyleaf's "I'm So Sick".  Now we're both scarred for life.XP  Her mom had to pick her up after that.
I also got some really cool presents, including - but not limited to - a homemade pillowcase with my nickname, "The Dragon Lady", on it, a CD with a mix of songs burned on it, a blue scarf with my name and a dragon drawn in sharpie marker on it, a fifteen dollar Itunes gift card, and a lifetime supply of rubber bands (I collect them).  All in all, I'd have to say I had fun, and that's really all that matters.  It's getting late, and I got around five hours of sleep last night, so I'm gonna turn in.  Toodles!

Jake

WE GOT A PUPPY!!!!!!!!!  He is the cutest little black lab mix that I've ever seen!!!  The only thing I don't like abut him is the name everyone picked out for him.  I wanted to name him Neo or Elliot, but noooooooo, they had to name him Jake!  They had to pick the most ordinary, boring, lifeless name in the book!  And I told them that I didn't like it too!  Obviously my opinion doesn't matter in this household!  Bobette is the only one who agrees with me!  *sigh*  We're just a couple of losers.
On the plus side, tonight I'm going to the teen swing dance with Emileesings tonight!  After that, I'm sleeping over at her house.  Also, yesterday I got to go see The Kit Kitteridge movie in theaters, and go to Boarders - where I purchased my all time favorite manga EVER - and the mall, where my friends and I gave random high fives to people we didn't know!  It was quite delightful!;3
Also, before I forget - HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!!!!   And my condolences to Tom Fischbach, author of the Twokinds online comic, for his dad who just died today.  I will be praying for him.
I've got to go.  Toodles!

Depression bites!

Have you ever been so depressed that you wanted to cry?  I have.  It isn't fun.  Sometimes I'm so depressed that I actually do cry!  I never do it around anyone else though.  The last time anyone else besides me saw me cry was when my great-grandmother died and I broke down in front of Bobette.  That was a year ago.  If  I'm depressed in public then I either shut up, or I snap at everyone.  I guess my depression policy is, "If I'm going to feel bad, then everyone else is going to feel bad with me!"
I know that it doesn't sound very christian-like, and I'm sorry if it offends anybody, but that's just how I am.  However, none of my friends have ever seen me cry (for a good reason anyway...).  There are also times when I look around at the world, and I think, "What a horrible place this has become!"
This may be true, but I sill remain remotely optimistic.  Why?  Because if I didn't, then I would miss out on all the good things in life that God has given us!  If I lost my optimism, then what would there be left to hope for?

..............

Welp, that's enough droopy, dramatic stuff for today!  On to the comedic stuff!  Yesterday a funny thing happened while Bob Alpha, Bob, and I were in our pool - Bob was doing his best to imitate Curly Joe (you know, from the Three Stooges) and I said,
"Quit the Three Stooges act!  Although, come to think of it, we are kind of like them - but I'm the smart one!"
It was at that moment that Bob decided to throw the ball that we were playing with, and it hit me in the head before I could react.  I swear, I will never live that one down!  -_-;  Ah well, I swore Bob Alpha and Bob to secrecy.  I also got an eNORmus sunburn!  It doesn't look as bad as it did, but it hurts like heck!  T-T  I should probably go now - toodles!

My fanfic.

I'm baaaaaaaack!;3  Today's post is concerning...the internet!  One of the best internet inventions on the whole web has got to be http://www.fanfiction.net!  It is fantastic (no pun intended)!  You can do a search on your favorite book series or TV show and you can almost defiantly find a fanfic on it!  Is that cool or WHAT???  I even have an account on there!  My username is DaAmazingMeepers!  Aren't I cool?!;p  Couldja read and review my story?  I want your opinion!

Another good internet invention is http://www.youtube.com!  I am almost positive that you have been there, but what you need to do is search for "The Almost - Drive There Now".  This band is awesome!!!  Also, you can find almost any episode of any show that exists!

And then, of course, there's this website!  Obviously, I don't need to give the URL.  I love this place!  Now I can get my feelings across without people tracking me down and killing me!

Anyhoo, on to other subjects - testing!  I did the first day of testing today, and LORD am I glad that this particular one is over!  Can I just say "I hate math"?  Cuz I do!  None the less, it's nessisary.T-T  Ah well...the fun subjects are tomorrow!  I'm signing off now - toodles!

My Family

Last time I said that I would talk about my family, so here I go!^.^  I am the oldest out of four children.  For the sake of privacy, I will rename everyone in my family.  My dad will be "Bob Alpha",  my mom is "Bobette", my first brother is just "Bob", my sister is "Bob Jo", and my youngest brother is "Bob Jr.".  First of all, Bob Alpha is a Fire Fighter.  He used to be a high school math teacher, but he complained that he wasn't getting paid enough, so he quit.  Bobette was a nurse-in-training before she had me and decided to become a homemaker (As in a mom, not someone who builds houses!XP).  Bob is a lego freak and a complete dork.  Bob Jo is an over-sensitive crybaby, but we still love her.  Finally, Bob Jr. is into Thomas the Tank Engine, and guns.  Meh, he's such a boy!;p  As for me, I'm obsessed with dragons, and I play the electric guitar.  At the moment, Bobette, Bob Jo, and Bob Jr. are at the library, Bob is changing the sprinklers, and Bob Alpha is at work.  And now  must depart, for I am not actually supposed to be on the computer!XD  Peace out!

Background Change!

Yay, no more boring old preset template!^o^ - "w00t!" Now I've got a way coolio one! Although, this does mean that I have to redo my quote and my poll.-_-' Oh, and also, just because it's the blog of "Random Craziness", it doesn't mean that I can't be serious. I will have some lamenting on my part, and don't be surprised if I say "I hate my life." once in a while. Just know that I don't mean it!:p Also know that there are only nine people in the world that are not related to me and that I truly trust! Well, one of them is related to me, but she doesn't live with me so it doesn't count! If you want to truly, honest-to-goodness gain my trust, then you must first:

1.) Be a nice person.
2.) Like the same things I like.
3.) Meet me in person.
4.) Not make fun of my crush.
5.) Not make fun of people who you think are my crush.
6.) Not force me to do things things that I don't want to do.
7.) Not ignore me when your original circle of friends is around.
8.) Treat me like I'm somebody.

These things have/have not happened to me before and it has caused me to be very untrusting to most people. For example, I was recently at a sleepover, and they were acting like a certain evil someone I know - I'll call her TT1 (for Teaser Trio 1) - and I told them so. I gave them a freaking lecture for crying out loud! I had been teased for ages by that person and her little gang, and I did NOT want to reinact that. After I had said what I wanted to say, they looked at each other - and they laughed. They LAUGHED!!! They were completely insensitive! I have lost faith in all but God, my family, nine other people, and music. Music is medicine for the soul! I have to go now, next time I'll tell you more about my family. Toodles!

I got it started!XD

Yay!  I got it figured out!!!  Now if I could only figure out how to change the background.-_-;  Ah well, in case you haven't figured it out yet I am crazy and obsessive and hyper and insane - and I'm very proud of it!;)  For the stuff that you can't have guessed, I am a Christian so I never swear, I LOVE dragons, I am female, I am a tomboy, and I want to be a vet.  You'll just have to keep watching this thing to find out more!;p  At the moment my friend is reading this over my shoulder, but I don't mind.  Also, just to warn you, I am a talker - or in this case a typer - so you may never find the end of my posts!  Fortunately, I have to go to another friend's house soon so this one won't be too long.  However, you won't get off so easily next time!;p  Here are lists of my likes and dislikes:
