Contemplations on reject and eggs.

I know I've been making depression a topic more often than not lately, and it might be disappointing to some people, but bear with me - I'm trying to get my feelings out here!  This is almost as good as a diary!  Anyhoo, our C.A.P.E. (Christian Association of Parent Educators) picnic was two days ago.  My friend A.J. was there, and also a few other people I know, but I wasn't paid attention to as much as I would have liked.  I probably could have done the chicken dance and sang the song that never ends at the top of my lungs and still nobody would have paid attention to me!

The person who gave me the most entertainment was a girl I'll call "Resa".  She was really nice to me for someone who didn't give a lick about me anytime before.  But seriously, she kept me entertained when A.J. disappeared on me - until someone suggested playing freeze tag.

I'll have you know right here and now that I am not in the best of shape, but I volunteered to be "it" anyway.  It was torture for my lungs but eventually, it was Resa's turn to be "it" and I took a rest under a tree.  However, I didn't get much rest because everybody thought I was "frozen" and kept touching me.  I felt like I had a sign saying "Poke me" taped to my front!  After a while, everybody I knew well went home, and I was left to contemplate my loneliness.

But on the bright side, our chickens started laying eggs!  I had gone over there to lock them in the hen house for the night, and I looked in one of the roosts or whatever you call them, and I saw two eggs!  It was soooo COOL!!!  Later, Bob found a half-dozen more eggs under the barbeque.  I was a tad envious, but eh, it was his turn to shine!

Signing off!

Phone Troubles.

I could just cry.  I really could.

You remember how I said I jumped into the pool with my clothes on and my phone was in my back pocket?  Well it finally dried out, and I was thrilled that it still worked - until I found out that I can't make or receive calls or text messages.  Basically, the only useful thing it does at the moment, is take pictures.  Worst of all, my next upgrade isn't until October or November.  Now isn't that just wonderful.

"What else can go wrong?" I thought.  Ha.  Life should have already taught me that I should never think or say that sentence.  And now, for no reason at all, depression has set itself on me, and Bob-Jo is being a brat.  Oh yeah, and I'm babysitting.  Luckily, she has been distracted by The Spiderwick Chronicles, so I'm safe for a while.  Earlier, she threatened to call me "Barbie Girl" when she got a blog.  If she wasn't my sister, and I wasn't a Christian, I would totally give her what she deserves.  However, she is, and I am, so I can't.

At the moment, I'm multitasking.  I'm listening to music on Jango, doing stuff on Deviantart, and blogging.  I also have to listen for some package guy who will apparently have something  important for Bobette that I will have to sign to get.  I have such a busy life.

I wanted to go some surprise dance party - I like dancing - but Bobette is too busy to take me, so I'm just going to have to grin and bear it.  I'm gonna have to sign off now.  Toodles.

Post-Birthday blues.

I can't believe I haven't posted since the Fourth of July!T-T  I feel so guilty!  Although I suppose it's alright, since not much has happened during that time period except - MY FIFTEENTH BIRTHDAY!!!  That's right, man!  I am now officially old enough to drive - even if it's only with a parent.  I wanted to have this grand old birthday slumber party with ten of my most trusted friends.  I was planning on  sleeping out in the backyard in the tent, having an animethon, and staying up as late as we could before we all passed out.  That's what I wanted, but what ended up happening was quite different.
First of all, although I sent invitations to ten people, only three of them actually came, and then I invited someone else at the last minute.  Then, because I'm so lazy, I didn't get the picture that I wanted on my cake to Dairy Queen until the last minute, so the image on my cake turned out to be a very diluted version of the picture I wanted.  At least it had a dragon on it.  And I saw the cutest Wile E. Coyote cake that I'm definitely going to have next year!
And then I realized that It was going to cost a good amount of money to rent that many movies for animethon, so I decided on getting the new Alvin and the Chipmunks instead.  Then after the party started, two bad things happened.  First, after we went to bed in the tent, the wind started blowing really hard.  Not long after, it tore a huge hole right where the wall of the tent met the floor of the tent.  We ended up moving campus to the back porch.  Not long after, the rest of the girls decided to jump into the pool - with their clothes on.  After a while, I finally caved in and jumped in too.  It wasn't until after I had jumped in that I remembered that I had my cellphone in my back pocket.  Yeah, oops.
After we finished watching AatC, I brought out a bunch of mangas so that we could have a mangathon if not an animethon.  After a while though, everyone got bored with this and we all went to have a midnight ping pong tournament instead.  Would you believe that I was the only one there with any skills playing ping pong?  After we got bored with that, it was unanimously decided that we would try to pull an all nighter.  To stay awake, we pulled out a game called "Songburst" that I found in my garage.  However, it was only a three player game, so two of my friends - I'll call them M&M - offered to stay out of the game, and ended up falling asleep not long after.
The point of Songburst was to try and name as many fifties and sixties songs as you could.  Emileesings and my other friend - I'll call her AJ - turned out to be really good at this game, but I didn't know as many songs as they did, so I was quickly surpassed by them.  I ended up falling asleep around sunrise.
When I woke up, I found out that both of them had managed to stay awake all night.  I have absolutely no will power!  After a while, Bobette had to take everyone but AJ home early.  After the others had gone, I showed her this thing on Deviantart called the "Furrie Doll maker", which was basically an online Sonic X doll maker, and we made and named a few OCs.  Then she showed me the music video for Michael Jackson's "Triller" (She's obsessed with him) on Youtube.  It was creepy!  In return, I showed her the music video for Flyleaf's "I'm So Sick".  Now we're both scarred for life.XP  Her mom had to pick her up after that.
I also got some really cool presents, including - but not limited to - a homemade pillowcase with my nickname, "The Dragon Lady", on it, a CD with a mix of songs burned on it, a blue scarf with my name and a dragon drawn in sharpie marker on it, a fifteen dollar Itunes gift card, and a lifetime supply of rubber bands (I collect them).  All in all, I'd have to say I had fun, and that's really all that matters.  It's getting late, and I got around five hours of sleep last night, so I'm gonna turn in.  Toodles!
